Once you have decided which Cheval Liberté Horse trailer suits you and your horses best, you can accessorise it with our range of Horse Trailer Accessories.
Before you collect your trailer, make sure you have checked your electric connection pin socket. All Cheval Liberte Horse Trailers are fitted with a 13-pin plug. If your towing vehicle has a 7-pin plug socket you will need to purchase a 13 pin adaptor for your trailer lights to work and be road legal.
Then to ensure your new horse trailer is secure, we strongly recommend purchasing a SAS Security Lock. These are insurance approved and can be fitted hitched or unhitched to prevent theft. There are 2 locks available, one for 2600-3500kg and another for trailers up to 2000kg (Touring One and Touring Country 2T). Please make sure you choose the hitch lock which is suitable for your trailer.
Whilst keeping things secure, Ramp locks are also available if you are storing goods in your trailer. These ramp handle locks are available in a single pack or as a pair.
For use inside the trailer, tie rings can be purchased for tying up hay nets or tying horses to. If you need to use the trailer to transport a horse without the centre partition, this can easily be achieved by purchasing a full breast bar. These are available for our Touring Country and Touring XL (same as Maxi2), providing more flexibility on using the trailer. This could be used to travel a mare and foal, or if you have one horse to travel and would like the extra space for tacking up inside the trailer.
We also supply heavy duty buckets which are perfect for use in your horse trailer or at home.
You can add more bridle hooks to your tack room if required for hanging additional bridles or headcollars on. We also stock our own Black headcollar with matching lead rope. The headcollar features brushed steel fittings and is only available in Full size.
Now you’ve got your headcollar and rope, maybe you want to tie your horses up outside the trailer? We can supply stainless steel tie bars for all of our multi horse trailers, which can be fitted retrospectively. Available in 4 sizes for the Touring Country, Touring XL and Maxi 2, Maxi 3 and Maxi 4.
