FAQ's

What flooring do I need in a Horse Walker?

Equitrack is the ideal flooring to be used within a Horse Walker.

Using Equitrack in the walk way of your Horse Walker, ensures that the surface will not become slippery as Equitrack provides grip and a surefooted surface for your horses to exercise safely and comfortably.

The Equitrack avoids ground wasting, while it’s structure facilitates the drainage of water excess. They are bonded together by a puzzle system, which forms, the best surface for any paddock and walker. These pieces measure 50 x 50cm and are made out of recycled plastic which is intended for large concentrated forces.

How long will it take to receive my horsewalker?

The standard sizes of horsewalkers (10,12,15,16,18,20 meter diameter) are in stock with our supplier in Europe. We can usually arrange delivery to anywhere in the UK or Ireland within a week.

Can I replace the old walker that I have?

Our supplier Molenkoning design and manufacture the horsewalkers. They can produce a ‘made to measure’ horsewalker for an existing fence or to replace an old walker.

What type groundworks do I need to install a horsewalker?

A concrete base 120×120 cm and 16 cm high above the ground level is necessary. Most of our clients would do this themselves but we can offer solutions. Radial curbs are ideal as sideboards for any of our horse walker fences. Further information is available here.

How much does a horsewalker cost?

There is such a range in diameter, number of horses and options it is very difficult to answer this question. Please don’t hesitate to call one of our experts will be happy to discuss your requirements and give you some indication of the cost.
